The village has a population of around 300 and has mountains to all sides. It is around eight minutes’ drive to the larger town of Monovar and about a ten-minute drive to Pinoso. The village has a restaurant and a bar just two to three minutes’ walk away as well as a butchers/mini market a bakery and a Health Centre. It is approximately 35-40 minutes’ drive to Alicante Airport and the beaches of the Alicante region.
